Panelists:

Terry Cross – Investor/Entrepreneur-in-Residence, WSU Business School. Terry spent 28 years at Kidder, Peabody & Company in the brokerage and investment banking business, where he focused primarily on technology companies and the venture capital industry. He has served on numerous boards for a broad range of technology companies. He has also invested in many private companies and was an angel investor in Google.

Pete Farner – Partner, TGap Ventures. Pete has been active in venture deals since 1984, first in the formation of a marketing services company in conjunction with $500 million auto supplier. Subsequently, he has raised over $50 million in venture capital to fund a variety of start-up and high growth situations. He has served as founder, CEO, and business developer for technology, software, and service companies.

Moderator:

Barbara Shoffner – Shoffner & Associates, a growth strategy consulting firm. Previously, Barbara was with General Motors for 24 years in areas ranging from engineering and business strategy to international joint venture development, which included the establishment of a JV in Shanghai, a “GM Mergers and Acquisition Program” in conjunction with Thunderbird, School of Global Management, and formation of a global business intelligence organization.
