Become a Showcase Presenter

Process:

  1. To start the process of becoming a Presenter, please complete the Showcase Presentation Tool (Word document). This provides an outline for all the pertinent aspects of a firm. If your firm has a comprehensive Executive Summary that addresses all the elements of the Showcase Presentation Tool, you may submit the Executive Summary. The information should be provided in a concise manner no more than six pages in length.
  2. Please review the Showcase Guidelines for Entrepreneurs (Word document), which provides useful tips, suggestions, assistance, and advice on completing the required form and developing your presentation.
  3. When the Showcase Presentation Tool is complete, submit it electronically to Gerry Roston (gerry@pairofdocs.net). It will be distributed to members of the Program Committee.
  4. Entrepreneurs are encouraged to attend the first meeting of the Program Committee following submission of their Showcase Presentation Tool or Executive Summary to the Committee. They will have an opportunity to provide a short introduction to their business, highlight specific management expertise or other needs, and answer any questions.
  5. When an entrepreneur is selected as a possible Showcase Presenter, the Program Committee Chair requests volunteers to work as a coaching team to help develop the business plan, prepare and practice their presentation, and connect with others within the Forum or larger community who could be helpful. The coaching team will determine the entrepreneur's readiness to be a Showcase Presenter and provide a recommendation to the Board of Directors.
